Softball. Softball Splits With Valparaiso (marshall University Thundering Herd)

Katie Murphree struck out eight Valparaiso batters to help propel the Marshall University softball team (14-7) to a 8-0, five inning shutout in game one on Tuesday afternoon. The Herd would then fall 6-4 to the Crusaders (13-5) in the second game at Dot Hicks Field.
